With strong international growth comes the need for more space. As a result in February 2014, the company moved from the start-up location in Herzebrock-Clarholz to the new campus in Oelde. The campus is a cohesive complex where learning and developing takes place. It was planned and implemented in accordance with our corporate culture and the OPUS brand values clear, designed, smart, and natural.
The campus includes an administration building, a logistics hall with an integrated office building, the outlet, and the surrounding countryside. The administration building is divided into individual work areas so that the spatial organisation acts as an engine that drives dynamic development. In addition to a large auditorium, an inviting cafeteria area, and a modern coffee bar, there is also a variety of useful areas in the main building. After all, the working world of tomorrow offers different facilities with varied atmospheres and free spaces for creativity.
The construction material was thus reduced to a particular selection. Natural materials such as concrete, stone, and wood constitute the campus. Nestled in the countryside, architecture and nature merge together. The surrounding nature park has a view of the campus's own forest, sprawling greenery, and lively waters. All perspectives in the building flow to the landscaped courtyards or directly to our nature park. Architectural elements such as a partly covered terrace and a pond with a foot bridge provide intimate spaces for breaks, rest, and relaxing activities.
The natural materials, proportional tension between the building elements and the surrounding landscape underscore the liveliness of the campus.
